Frozen Banana Dessert – a delicious frozen dessert that is virtually guilt free! Tastes better than ice cream.
One of my greatest weaknesses in the kitchen is puréed frozen banana. Seriously this stuff is better then ice cream! Whenever I make Banana Chocolate Muffins I need to make sure I use at least one extra banana since I inevitably WILL sample the banana purée. I just can’t help myself!
Turing the banana purée into a dessert was a no brainer. The family absolutely loves it, especially when I let them dress it up with sprinkles and chocolate chips. Play around and have fun with your toppings. Try nuts, sauces, candy pieces, chopped fruit, really anything that you like on ice cream will taste great on banana purée. But most of all, enjoy eating it because it is a guilt free dessert!
There are lots of add ins to change the flavour of the banana puree. Try adding frozen strawberries, peanut butter and cocoa powder, mini chocolate chips and mint extract, frozen blueberries, walnuts and caramel sauce, there are so many options!!
To make this amazing dessert all you need is a food processor, frozen very rips bananas, milk, and adds ins and toppings of your choice.
In the bowl of your food processor add your frozen bananas. You want to make sure that when you freeze your bananas they are very ripe. The rind should have lots of brown spots on it.
