Creamy Buttermilk Salad Dressing

A creamy dressing with a bit of zip. It tastes good with any salad and coleslaw.

Buttermilk Salad Dresssing

This is my go to salad and coleslaw dressing. It is always in my fridge, I must make it every other day. I’ve made it so much now, that I don’t even bother measuring the ingredients anymore. 😉 I know it will become a staple for you as well.

Buttermilk Salad Dresssing

Add 1/2 cup buttermilk and 1/2 cup mayonnaise to a container with a tightly fitted fid. Shake or whisk until incorporated. Add 2 tablespoons vinegar and 2 – 3 tablespoons sugar and salt and pepper to taste. Shake well. Refrigerate at least 3 hours to allow flavours to combine. Pour over coleslaw before serving. The dressing does thicken up after being refrigerated.
